Inclusions
There have been a multitude of inclusions, or plant and animal structures, found in amber ever since the scientific community took an interest in this gemstone. From insects and plants to small frogs and lizards the variety of ancient life discovered has been continually growing. Since amber can be as old as 90 million years we can only imagine the kind of secrets and insights into the past that have been uncovered through genetic study of the creatures found inside.
